This project involved designing a comprehensive instructional storyboard to map out a digital learning experience integrating AI tools. The storyboard included clear learning outcomes, learner personas, embedded media ideas, interactive checkpoints, and pedagogical rationale. It served as the foundation for developing an Articulate Rise course and later guided the flow and structure of a live workshop experience.
What I Did / Tools Used
Developed a visual storyboard in Miro to map out the lesson sequence, tool integration, and learner engagement points.
Used Miro’s frames, icons, and connectors to represent narrative flow, interactive elements, and tool transitions (e.g., where to introduce Canva AI or ChatGPT).
Created feedback loops and embedded facilitator notes directly on the Miro board for planning live facilitation.
Used the storyboard as a blueprint for the Rise 360 course, aligning structure and interactions seamlessly.
Re-purposed and expanded sections of the storyboard into interactive workshop zones, allowing participants to engage directly with the design concepts during the session.
Tools: Miro (primary), Google Slides, Canva, Rise 360
This project confirmed Miro as one of my most powerful design tools. It enabled me to not only visualize the learning journey, but also to prototype interactions, plan live facilitation, and communicate ideas clearly with others. The transition from storyboard to Rise 360, and then into a live PD workshop, flowed smoothly because of the flexibility, clarity, and collaboration that Miro supported. I now confidently use it as a central tool for instructional design — from ideation to delivery.
